Hospital waste are the waste generated from hospital activities in the form of liquid, solid, or gas. These wastes are dangerous because it can be toxic and radioactive in nature. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) estimates that the piles of medical waste in hospitals throughout Indonesia has reached 8,000 tons. This is because medical waste processing has not met the standard requirements.
